Hi,

I receive a lot of mini-DV tapes from various sources and most are fine to play on my SONY DSR 20P deck; ocassionaly I'll receive a tape that looks like it's dropping frames on playback. I've been told that it's the way it get's recorded on the camera. Can anyone tell me what this method is and how it can be prevented at the recording stage?
