"What does receiving God's Gift mean to Catholics?"

ANSWER: God's gift is Christ, the Holy One of Israel, the Redeemer of Mankind, the Lord of Lord, the King of Kings. The Savior of all has come to earth like manna in the wilderness. He is received by us at every mass in communion where we declare that He is Lord.

How do Catholics Repent?

ANSWER: Through the abundant grace of God, the Holy Spirit moves our hearts in repentence; that is, deep remorse and regret for the sins we have committed against our precious Lord, whose body was given for us at Calvary. We ask the Holy Spirit to shine His light on our hearts and to grant His grace to overcome sin in our lives.

How can one help young catholic people have faith?

ANSWER: By living the faith before them; becoming a living testimony of the manifold love of God. The grace that seeks, the grace that saves, the grace that moves us to walk the walk before them is that living testimony.

I am not sure if you realize but this guy has went extremely of the point. His ramblings are not relevant to the question in hand.

On that note, I ask the same question but ask for some bibilical reference.

I personally have faith because my mother gave me my faith. Whenever something bad would happen to me, she'd tell me that God was helping me and carrying me through it. No matter what happened in my life I knew I could count on God, even if the humans around me failed me.

I'm 21 now, but I've always kept my faith thoughout my life. I thank my perish for that, but mostly I thank my Mom who would always be there with an answer and a bible.

I guess my answer is you teach young Catholics to have faith by constantly showing them examples of how their faith fits into their lives. Remind them that God is a rock to hold onto no matter what happens. Remind them that suffering is a part of life, but suffering ends because God is good enough to help you through the time. Also remind them that all good things come from God. :)
