I was just wondering if anyone has made the Consecration of Saint Louis Marie De Montfort here on this site? Could anyone tell me what they think of it and how it has changed their lives? Do you get deeper and deeper into it after you keep renewing it?

I have not, but I have read True Devotion to Mary. That book alone has made a big difference in my life. I hope to make the consecration one day, but have not had the time to do the preparation with my family and work life yet.

Hello, I have just made the Consecration of Saint Louis Marie De Montfort on March 25th. I suggest going here www.consecration.com, for the Militia Immaculata, a spiritual movement of total consecration according to St. Maxamillian Kolbe, which is similar to Montfort's consecration. I am 16 and, while just starting my efforts to live this consecration, I feel that it will have a profound effect on my life. So far it has been a way for me to step back and re- evaluate my life while trying to entrust everything to Our Lady, For me it is transforming my fear, and I very much want to go deeper into it.

Matt has a great suggestion. Check out the Militia Immaculata. Consecration through the MI has been a great source of grace in my life. Like marriage, it grows from day to day and takes a daily effort to live out and remain true.

You can also go to The Mary Foundation to order free tapes and CDs with lots of great info on the faith. They have made a difference in my faith. They have great stuff from Christopher West, Scott Hahn, Fr. John Corapi, Fr. Larry Richards, et al. I bring this up because the creator of the site is a member of the Militia Immaculata and his testimony was instrumental in me joining the MI.

Thank you for the websites. I have checked them out. They are great. I am trying to make the Consecration this time around. I have read through and prayed through it once already, but I really felt like I should do it again, because the first I was really distracted. Now that I know what I need to do, I can do it better the second time around. I am glad that Matt has made the Consecration at such a young age. I wish I knew about it when I was your age. I will try to get a copy of the book True Devotion to Mary, because I would like to read that too. God bless you.
