Hi All,

I noticed the forum has picked up a little, immature troll who gets his kicks off of disrupting things. Ultimately, since the Greenspun forums don't have the ability to block users from doing this sort of nonsense nor do they prevent someone like this from posting, the only way to fix it is for the moderators to try to keep up with deleting his messages. My suggestion is to first IGNORE HIM. He'll go away once his fun is gone, and that happens once we stop complaining and reacting to him. Like any child, having attention paid to him is his only motivation.

So, in order to navigate this forum without having to encounter his little messages and locking up your screen, I suggest that you increase the security settings in Explorer so you can't even see his messages. In Internet Explorer, if you click on Tools | Internet Options | Security and then click the disable button in the Scripting section next to the "Active Scripting" option, you won't even see his messages anymore. If you click on the "prompt" option, rather than "disable", then you'll get an Explorer message letting you know a script is being run and asking if you want to see it, just click 'no' and proceed without having to read the thoughts of this perverse child.

i have friends who can solve the problem for us... but i need the IP, which i have no access to. ed, cmon, gimme the IP. he waived his right to the rules of the catholic forum by attacking the forum with active script jframes.

Yes, someone has posted on Anarchy 2 using my email also, because I've been receiving replies from "ooga" from that board, although I have never posted there. It is strange.

Emily, there's another troll by the name of "ooga" doing some of the dumb stuff, although NOT on the same level as AKOBADAGETH. Since AKO's ISP has revoked his access to the Internet, this peta'Q is now under investigation by the Henderson Nevada Police and the FBI. Here's hoping they nail him and his buddies for their cyberterrorism and ruining faith-based boards.
