I am interested to know what rates contract massage therapists are paid. I am interested in what percentage of the fee charged to the client is paid to the therapist and what is included in that payment, and what materials etc the therapist is expected to supply or what is generally supplied by the clinic. I understand that contract therapists are responsible for their own insurance, and must pay their own tax. I know the pay rate varies a lot and is reflective of costs to the 'hirer'. I am a massage therapist, but I am coming from the perspective of someone who is engaging contractors myself.
