Hi there, I'm an American currently living in the UK and training to be a doula. My husband and I are planning on moving back to the Boston area after I get my UK doula certification next year, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the job situation is like for doulas in Boston. For example, how hard/easy is it to establish yourself as an independent doula, and how much demand is there? Also, are there hospitals that employ staff doulas, if so, which ones are they, what kind of work is there, and how's the money? Many thanks for any answers and advice!!!
