I was in there in the 70's and noticed a trough covered with white tiles running under the bar.Yes the bartender said the water ran in there.He recalled hooker's in there in the 40's lifting their skirts and doing there buisness .Understand The Saloon was saved in the '06 fire because the firemen liked the bordelo upstairs.

The Saloon burned in 1906 but reopened on the same site.
