Could you also give the date of construction of the Southern Railway trestle spanning the Ocmulgee River at Lumber City.

Do you have a record of the date the first steam locomotive ran from Macon to Atlanta? Was this engine built overseas, and transported by barge up the Ocmulgee River to Macon. It ran from Macon to Atlanta rather than from Atlanta to Macon. Thak you very much. Roy McGregor
