Perhaps, as a non-catholic I may never be considered worthy by those here to be as vocal as I have been.I've been reflecting on my time here, and realised that I have caused quite a number of upsets. Quite a number of times I've been rather condescending in the way I speak to others, like that of a teacher talking down to a student.
Eugene has probably copped it the most from me, so brother I apologise for doing so. I need to remove the beams from my eyes before I think of removing the splinter from my brother.
Eugene is someone who has an undying passion for the church. This has taught me that I'm so lukewarm sometimes and need to be more absolute for the Lord and His interest.
We come here from day to day, perhaps not knowing what will be spoken next, perhaps ready to make someone look like a fool, perhaps to genuinely speak words from the spirit. In any case, we are all sinners in need of the Lord's mercy, and despite our differences, we can all look to the Lord to shine on us and lead us out of our darkness.
Eugene, Emerald, Ian, David, Paul, Emily, Pat, everyone here, God bless you always.

Thank you Oliver. I can't speak for others, of course, but I'm here to understand people opinions different than my own. Sometimes that is all I get, and sometimes I also get to better understand my own opinions.Take care, and I look forward to more conversations, whatever they may hold!

Oliver-I agree with Pat. I learn from alot from many of the discussions that go on here. Disagreements create explanations and perspectives I might never have considered.
I've never found your posts to be condescending. You seek knowlege and you do it politely (as far as I've seen.) I'm glad you stop by.

Hi, Olly Eugene( the great defender 8-)) is like one of those little obnoxious barking poodles everytime some-one disagrees with him... He means no harm. He even started a thread to the Mod this week asking for help... He "yaps and yaps" and then they take him out in the deep water and drown him everytime. You need to come back to the Catholic Church young man. There is no way around this grave sin. You are the leader in your family and you have a duty.
May God bring you back home, and bless Jesse and you with a healthy baby.

(I was here.) My sincere thanks to Oliver; he's a fine contributor to our forum. I can't imagine what he should apologise for. May God bless you, Oliver. To David over-excited, I say also-- Good work. Keep pulling that ox-cart faithfully. God bless you as well!

Thankyou David and Eugene.

I also don't know why you're apologizing..yet if you think you need to..???Hope you don't mind, but I pray also for your return to the Church. I left once for many years..nothing was worth the lack of the Eucharist..nothing.
May God grant you peace. I finally found mine again.

As the Great Defender continues to purify the Catholic Church, only 1.1 billion more to go!I hope I'm not around on the day he has to reap what he has sown.

OliverI too can't imagine what you have to apologise for.
God's blessings to you and yours.
truly.

Michael,
What's anything have to do with you being ''around''--??? I was always going to reap as I've sown. Just like you.Maybe we should leave that to God. But thanks for the compliment, anyway!

I treasure the people here. You are all very precious.

Dear Oliver, Nice to know that you too are from New Zealand. New Zealand is a great country and I love its people. I praise and thank God for His wonderful Mercy in guiding me and my family to this great country though I am not unaware of some of the failings. All of us are short of perfection and are sinners saved by the Mercy of God. The fact that you so humbly wants to make things right shows a rich heart inside you and that the Holy Spirit is guiding you. Its never easy to acknowledge ones shortcomings and stirrings of ones conscience (God,s compass that guides us). God Bless, Ramanie.
