Bob might be a smart ass type response but gee why not ask your students to bring in some old ones that might have just laying around ?

Plesa make sure they are "just lying around" and not the only copy removed from a site

Exactly why I'm asking here, and not asking my students

Bob, thats a easy one, start with Otis 10-21 UCL controler the Workhorse of the World. That controler can last 100 years the reason they dont build them anymore it too expensive to build and they last to long. Ask one of you students or just find out where the Elevator guys have coffee and they will help you maybe loan you parts for the class. Jim

Bob, The first thing to teach them is where the Elevator Union Hall is Located and the benifits of being a Union Member.

any of us non union types would please to step up to the plate and help out the college, as this will help produce better trained mechanics in the long run, union or not
