"Free" Bar Risers

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

Derek Goodwin on April 20, 2003 posted a suggestion for bar risers that I have done to 3 other bikes in the past with very good results. Just completed the job on the MV. Basically just swapping the bar clamps left to right and upside down. If anyone would like detailed instructions, just E-mail me. I have tried Ferraci bars on a Duc and have sat on a MV with the Ferraci bars. Personally, didn't work for me. This method will give you more rise and is free. And it's reversable if you don't like it.

Not touching the fairing though?

The only adjustment required so nothing touches the fairing is to rotate the throttle cable housing rearward a bit. No factor at all. Email me and I'll send you detailed instructions if you like.
